Loopmasters have been busy behind the scenes this summer and are now ready to unveil some major news including several distribution deals plus a new website around the corner…

Loopmasters tell us that they are entering the world of distribution to offer their customers an even more diverse range of products.

First on the list is the Drumdrops label. Loopmasters have remastered the label’s entire collection of pro-quality multitrack drum libraries from some of the best reggae, world and contemporary drummers. The first re-release, Drumdrops in Dub Vol 1, is available now. Secondly Loopmasters will distribute the output of the new label Wave Alchemy who are set to cause a stir with their specialist 24-bit dance sample CDs – the first release, Electro House underground, is available now. Look out for further details of both new collections soon.

Loopmasters say that they have broken new ground with their incredible digital download model which has helped attract several other labels to their stable from which there will be new releases later this year. These labels include;

  • Discovery Sound, famed for their world samples
  • Pure Magnetik who specialize in great Ableton based products
  • Sonic Couture known for their Native Instruments compatible and award-winning products
  • Wavescape Studio who specialize in mutlisampled Dance instruments
  • Galbanum, a US label who have some unique concepts in sound and whose products are off the wall, yet highly usable in modern music production and TV composing.

Matt Pelling, company director, had this to say, “The move into distribution was a natural ‘next step’ for Loopmasters. We are now distributing several quality libraries from bespoke labels whose products complement the existing Loopmasters range. There are classic remastered collections alongside fresh products from innovative sample companies who are at the cutting edge of sound design. They all offer something unique to our broad customer base of producers from around the world. And these labels are just the start – expect more great products and more collections plus many more titles in development from some major producers and labels for the Loopmasters Artist Series. It’s an exciting time ahead and one that will demand an exciting new website. Good job we’ve got that covered too – more on that soon!”
