Jambo Bwana Hakuna Matata Arranged by Kimura Masato
Jambo Bwana Hakuna Matata. Original drum composition and arrangement by Kimura Masato.
Jambo Bwana (in Swahili "Hello Mister") Hakuna Matata (There are no worries) is a famous song from Kenya and internationally known. This song has had so many arrangements since the 1980's up until 2004. Masato Kimura has adapted this song in his own native language (Japanese).
This is not the full song has he usually performs, but just some quick clips and cuts to help the world know about the Japanese version of Jambo Bwana Hakuna Matata.

KOTO - Japanese Ethnic Sound Samples
http://www.discoverysound.com/en/DFSD...
Kontakt |RNS
Koto's 13 strings bring elegant and spiritual sounds that mimic stillness and motion as does the 4 seasons of Japan. You will feel as if it is you who is playing these warm, dynamic tones.
An ancient Japanese musical instrument comes into the spotlight again. The Koto is not only used in traditional music, but also modern day composers have also used the instrument in collaboration with orchestras since the early 1900s. Koto captures the pure sound of Japan and will flood your ears with various sounds.
Koto was used in old Japanese court music to sooth the body. It has been said that this instrument could purify you mind, body, and soul. There is an opening in the bottom of the Koto which releases the sound that seems to penetrate your body.
The DVD-ROM was recorded with the player facing the Koto using the correct posture and emotional display to achieve the high quality 96 kHz/24bit sound. You can hear many basic play techniques such as types of chalking, finger slides, pizzicato, and arpeggios all inside 1023 files.
The Koto sound is as quite as the moon, cherry blossoms, and the surface of water. It has a lightness of flying butterflies and the sputtering of fish, but has the strength of thunder. Its 13 strings bring elegant and spiritual sounds that mimic stillness and motion as does the 4 seasons of Japan. You will feel as if it is you who is playing these warm, dynamic tones.
The overflowing rich sounds of the Koto were by no means for the enjoyment of music. During a time of ruins and decay of ancient times it may have been known as an intellectual sound source. But with the Kotos inspirational sounds from its creator resonating with mankind will bring harmony into the new age.

Sample CD Companies
#1 Discovery Sound (Japan) (Of course I am going on the list) World renowned for world & ethnic sample cds, but offer a variety of other hard to find sounds and effects. Point of contact is Stephen Hunter because anyone one else would be uncivilized.
#2 Loopmasters Limited (UK) (Really I think they are number one, but this is not a democracy here) Loopmasters started making and selling sample cds before most of us. They have now grown into sample cd distributor giants including an arsenal of artists and labels offering one of the biggest selections of sound available on the net today. Oh did I forget to mention..... everything is downloadable. No more waiting 2 weeks for that CD to come in the mail with just a few clicks of the mouse.
#3 Big Fish Audio (US) BFA is one the United States leading sample cd suppliers and distributors. They have been around for a while and outlasted their rivals over time during the lows and highs of the sample cd business. They offer sample CD packs from producers all over the world and recently have started to implement download into their vocabulary. You can't go wrong with BFA when it comes to excellent products offered and even greater customer service.
#4 Producerloops (UK) Producerloops is another sample cd powerhouse based out of the UK. They also offer a long line of sound from some of the most recognized names in digital audio. They are farely new, but it doesn't stop them from taking their place respectfully in the sample cd community. This is one company to keep and eye on. They are continiously expanding their product line and leaving their mark in history.
#5 Traxsource (US) Traxsource is another big player in the industry. They have only been around since 2003, but their growth is beyond extrordinary. They have literally built a sample cd empire and surpassed quite a few of their seniors in the process. Their library expands faster than any other company today and their statistics speak for themselves. Definitely glad to be onboard with these guys.
#6 TimeSpace (UK) Need I say more? Well most of you already know about this bad boys. (Bad means good) They have been around since since 1995 and continue to set the standard in the sample cd industry. They have a huge selection of samples and as far as "connections" go they probably have the most in that field as well. They are the true sample cd mentors and one of the original "old school" sample suppliers. Notice I didn't include sample CD there. You always give respect where respect is due and TimeSpace definitely get mine.
I know there are a lot more of companies out there, but for now these the ones that are a must to know about. If you are a sample cd company, supplier, distributor, etc. then just drop me a line and I will add you too the list. If I know about you already you have a pretty good chance of getting on the list. Til next time.
